Our very
first Catholic
School Week Fair
was an enormous
success. As
students in a
Catholic School,
it is important
for us to grow
in our faith. As
Catholics we are
called to
service. It is
important that
our students
recognize that
service can take
many forms. As
students in a
Catholic school,
our academic
success can be
motivated by our
experiencing
what do I want
to do when I
grow up?
We would like to
thank the
following
exhibitors for
sharing their
areas of
interest with
us:
Thanks to Fr.
Reade, Blythe
Turner, and
Deacon Deshaies
for sharing
their love of
God and
willingness to
serve us. The
students enjoyed
hands-on
activities
related to
clerical
vestments,
prison ministry,
and scapulas.
Thanks to
Richard Collier,
Kevin Nagle,
Jean Robertson,
Christa Nagle,
Mark McPherson,
and Chad Reed
for showing us
that service
means helping
people. Our
students enjoyed
meeting a police
officer, a
firefighter, a
doctor, a nurse,
a food pantry
director, and a
recycling
coordinator.
Thanks to Lee
Guinan, Lisa
Burnworth, Angie
McCrady, Tony
Vogel, Debbie
Henry, and Bret
Benack for
showing us that
the things we
learn in school
are important,
and help us do
extraordinary
things. These
exhibitors
represented the
academic areas
of veterinary
medicine,
agriculture,
international
language,
engineering,
journalism, and
political
campaigning.
Thanks also, to
Angela Yenchar ,
Danielle Cox and
Lindsay Bruce,
parent
volunteers for
the fair
A SPECIAL
thanks to Mrs.
Darfus for
organizing our
fair and the
exhibitors. It
was an amazing
experience for
everyone
involved!!
-
Thanks to
Mary Ann Groves
the Saint Lady
for amazing
our students
with her
mini-assemblies
featuring
stories of the
lives of the
Saints.
